Switzerland is really amazing country. It use to be one of the poorest district in entire Europe, thanks to lack of grounds for sowing. But at the moment, anything had change. Swiss inhabitants are very rich, so much, that they do not need to be member of European Union. But even so, tourists from Poland are also able to explore this magnificent land, without having a passport, only ID is needed. That is because Switzerland is a part of Schengen zone. Beside, because of huge popularity of this area, tickets for flights to Geneva or Zurich are really attractive. Doesn’t matter the season of year, you must to give it a shot, you won’t regret it.
If you are a fan of winter activities and you like to going on ski or snowboard, maybe you may consider Swiss Alps? Surely, it is many more distant then Polish resorts, but not if you want to go there by an airplane. Flights from Warsaw to Geneva took like couple hours, it is a lot more quicker then traveling by a car to Karpacz . Also, you do not have to be afraid about your equipment, cause most of the airline carriers are permitting to take sport gadgets to the plane, but inside the cabin. It cost like normal, checked baggage, and your wardrobe should fit in carry on, surely. If you have never been in different winter resorts then Polish ones, you would be astonished, for sure. The best conditions on the mountainsides, nice apartments at the top of the hills, fantastic roads. After busy day on slope, you could visit some inn to drink tasty beer and eat classical, cheese soup. And even when you aren’t a fan of winter season, you can visit Swiss Alps during the summer time. But when you are more urban type of atourist, you will be satisfied also. There are many of flights to Geneva affordable from various Polish cities, in very reasonable prices. The most relevant, is to book your tickets several months before your journey, it will be a lot more cheaper like that. You just need to use your internet browser and write down correct key words,such as “flights from Warsaw to Geneva” for instance. Later is good to book some room in the hostels, it is the cheapest alternative. When you arrive in the town, you will be charmed . This land is divided into two parts – one is really pretty and melancholic with many of tiny bridges above the river, and lovely, historical two floors tall mansions. Also, you could visit one out of plenty green area, swim in a fantastic lake for free, and grab a beer wherever you want – it is not forbidden in Switzerland. Different part of Geneva is much more modern. You will find there spectacular, tall buildings, made entirely of steel and glass. This is financial district, with a lot of relevant institutions, like headquarter of United Nations or Red Cross.
